Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Blaster (Mines) and Driver Cum Mechanic (LMV):
Candidates must have passed 10th/Matric under the 10+2 system or equivalent. - For Fitter, Turner, Welder, Electrician, Draughtsman, COPA, Instrument Mechanic, and Solar Technician:
Candidates must have passed 10th/Matric and ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
Important Points:
- ITI candidates who passed in 2024 or earlier must submit an affidavit stating they have not undergone apprenticeship training or taken employment previously.
- Candidates with higher professional qualifications, such asa Diploma or B.E., will not be considered.
- Higher academic qualifications like BA/BSc/BCom will not receive additional weightage.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years (as on 04 February 2026)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- As per Government guidelines.

HCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Selection Procedure
Selection will be strictly merit-based.
- For ITI trades:
70% weightage to marks obtained in 10th Board
30% weightage to marks obtained in ITI (relevant trade) - For Blaster (Mines) and Driver Cum Mechanic (LMV):
100% weightage to 10th marks.
In case of a tie in merit, the older candidate will be preferred.
Selected candidates must meet the company’s medical fitness standards.
Stipend
Stipend will be paid as per the rules applicable under the Apprenticeship Act.
