  • Around 900-1800 (or 2000 approx) underprivileged and mostly disadvantaged girl students get this scholarship benefit. 
  • Minimum qualifications are class 12 and must pursue any UG course in humanities, liberal arts and sciences as well. 
  • The girl students must be from southern states such as Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and they must complete their 10th and 12th from any government school or local junior colleges. Backward district girls get an advantage. 
  • Among all deserved candidates, around 900 students get INR 24,000 up to the completion of their study (it may cover their tuition fee, education fee and others).
