Some Important Facts For Sanskrit Scholarship

  • Sanskrit Scholarship or Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship is dedicatedly designed for the students who are studying Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, the three oldest languages. 
  • The students who are applicants for this scholarship must study in any Sanskrit Panthasala, Mahavidyalaya, or Viswavidyalaya, schools, Colleges, Universities. 
  • Students of Purba Madhyama (1st and 2nd year), Uttar Madhyama (1st and 2nd year), UG degree or BA (3 years), PG degree (1 and 2 years), Ph.D. or Vidyavaridhi or equivalent are eligible for the Sanskrit scholarship. 
  • Students of the following must get the following marks:
    • General – 60%
    • SC/ST/PH/Disability – 50% and
    • OBC – 55% in their last attended board/council/university examination. 
  • The scholarship reward is from 2500 – 20000 yearly according to the year and stages of their studies.
