Eligibility criteria

  • The person who applies must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. The family must be included in the BPL list. If they live in a village, their monthly earnings must be less than 10,000, and if in a city, less than 12,000.
  • The family’s wetland must be less than 3 acres, and dry land less than 10 acres. The family’s use of electricity is not more than 300 units per month.
  • They should not have any four-wheelers, but owning a taxi, auto, or tractor is allowed.
  • No family member should have a government job or pension, and none of the family members should pay income tax.

Age

The age varies for different people.

  • Elderly people must be 60 years or above to get this benefit. If transgender, they must be 18 years or above.
  • There is no age limit for differently abled people, but they must have a certificate to show that they belong to that category.
  • Fishermen, weavers, toddy tappers, and similar groups must generally be 50 years or above.
  • Single women and widows have many different age criteria, which depend on where they live and other factors.

The person whose name will be registered must have an Aadhaar card. A BPL card or white ration card must be submitted as proof that they belong to the BPL category. Bank account details must be provided. Proof of permanent residence where they live must be submitted. Age proof must be submitted for elderly people, widows, single women, etc. Differently abled persons must show a certificate to prove they belong to that category. If there is any other category certificate, it must also be submitted.
